Off to Preschool
I wasn't planning on sending Aidan to preschool this year, but there were several compelling reasons that have arisen in the last few weeks that made it possible. The first is that he dearly misses Brendan when he is at school. If he sleeps in and Brendan has already left for school, Aidan will cry and cry that he wants his "Ben-den". Second, he literally runs into Brendan's classroom when we walk Brendan to school and starts to play. The kid likes to play in a little sized room with little sized people. And finally a spot opened up last Thursday in the church preschool around the corner from our house. So I went to the open house and took him to the sneak peak last Friday and, much like his brother, he walked right in and didn't look back. He's ready. I cried, but this time I waited until I got in my car to drive away and he was none the worse for it. So, enough said. Here's my baby going to preschool.
