It all started with that shoe on the wall

 
Every school-day morning the boys wake up to Brendan's alarm, make their way downstairs, and sit in front of the heat vent, waiting for me to come down and make breakfast. This morning, they brought down several Dr. Seuss books including one of my favorites, Wacky Wednesday. I came down to find them reading it to each other, searching for the all the wacky stuff, and discussing the taste of green eggs and ham.
